Denver David Ball, 70, of Turtle Creek passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.
He was born October 9, 1943 in Wharton and was a son of the late Denver and Ruby Thompson Ball. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Kayla.
He was the owner of Ball Excavating.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Nelson Ball; daughters, Belinda Kay Ball and Beverly Ann Halley both of Turtle Creek and Jennifer Lynn Smith of Madison; son, David DeWayne Ball of Turtle Creek; grandchildren, Ryan James Halley, David Michael Halley and Brittany Smith; great-grandchildren, Christopher Ryan and Landyn Gage; sisters, Freda Elswick of Camp Creek, Hedra Wheatley of Beckley, Gloria Ellis of Turtle Creek, Judy Ashenbrenner of Oregon, Ella Hager of Turtle Creek, Rosemary Atkins of Camp Creek; and brothers, Ronald Ball and Bobby Odell Ball both of Turtle Creek.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Richard Runyan officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
