Dewey Allen Meade, 75, of Sharples, WV went home to be with our Lord and his loving wife Susie, after a brief illness.
Dewey left behind one son, Paul Allen Meade and daughter in law Lisa Meade; one daughter, Angela Kaye Lester and son in law Dennie R. Lester; four grandchildren, Elijah Aaron Messer, Jonathan Allen Meade Jr., Jarrod Sean Meade and Maggie Lane Lester; three great-grandchildren, Conway Allen Meade, Amelia Kaye Meade and Ryker Knox Messer; three brothers, Johnny W. Meade and (Baby Doll) Carrie Meade, Paul D. Meade and Charlene, and Kenneth Ray Meade and Kim; two sisters, Brenda J. Stover and Sharon R. Olzack; brothers in law, Rev. Joe Lane and Betty; three sisters in law, Sandra Miller and Foy, Paula Baldwin and Lucy Canterbury; and step mother, Barbara Meade.
Dewey was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Sue Ann Lane Meade; father and mother, Allen Meade Jr. and Ermalee Salyers Meade; two sisters, Katherine Meade and Carolyn Meade; one brother, Ronnie Lee Meade; father in law and mother in law, Basil Paul and Beaulah Mae White; two brothers in law, Frankie Hooper Stover and Danny R. Baldwin.
He was a faithful servant and member of Monclo Freewill Baptist Church and served as a deacon for 38 years. He served as treasurer and Sunday School Superintendant. He served on Business Committee of Huff Creek Conference.
Service will be 12 noon Monday, May 22 at Monclo Freewill Baptist Church, Monclo with the Rev. Joe Lane and Dennie Evan officiating. Burial will follow in Family Memorial Gardens, Madison.
