Dexter James Richmond

Dexter James Richmond, 71, of Spurlockville, WV was living at Black Diamond Arbor Apartments in Danville, WV when he passed away on May 18, 2023 of pneumonia and complications due to type one diabetes.

He was born April 30, 1952, a son of the late Henry and Freeda Brown Richmond.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Autis and Lester Richmond; sisters, Lonie Derry, Mable Machniak and Ruby Hager.

He is survived by sisters, Helen Thompson of Alamogordo, NM, Lillian Clay of Alkol, WV and Sharon Griffith of Yawkey, WV; and brothers, Estil Richmond of Glenwood, IA and Larry Richmond of Newcomerstown, OH.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
