Dixie Lee Presson, 81, of Hamlin, WV passed away Friday, April 11, 2014.
She was born May 8, 1932 in Mt. Hope, WV, a daughter of the late Dock L. and Margaret Carson Workman. Dixie was also preceded in death by a brother Dock Workman Jr.; and sisters Betty L. Sparks and Eilita Workman.
She was retired from Lincoln National Bank of Hamlin. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi and the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of Gauley Bridge High School.
She is survived by her husband Robert Lee "Bob" Presson; a daughter, Teresa L. Woodall and her husband Wayne A.; granddaughters, Ashley N. Streets and her husband Jamie M. and Brittany M. Woodall.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Dr. Robert Fulton officiating. The burial will follow in Fairview Memory Gardens, Hamlin.
A viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
