Don E. Martin, age, 75, of Gordon WV passed away September 4, 2015. He was a son of the late Mack and Mae Martin. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Audrey Gladys, Eula, Bueala and Mary Francis; brother, Ray; children, Don E. Martin, Cindy and April.
He was a retired member of Brothers of the Wheel. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA.
He is survived by his wife Martha; children, Cloyce Perkins, Sherry Burris, Donny Martin, Kathy Nash and Carrie Ann and Daniel; grandchildren, Quinton, Kathryn and Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Zane, Katelyn, Lee land, Corrina, Robert and Alshia; sisters, Deloris (John) Quattlebaun of AL, Doris Fitzgerald of OH and Bonnie (Rich) Rasmussen of OK; his nephew, Tommy Adkins; and niece Sharon Blazdia.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Van Park. Family is asking for everyone to bring a covered dish.
