Donald Ray Daniels, 56, of Lake, WV went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 22, 2014.
He was born April 5, 1957 and was a son of the late Dewey and Clara Daniels.
Donald was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family with all his heart. He was a deacon at the Hilltop Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He was a coal miner and a member of UMWA. He was loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 37 years, Annetta Daniels; daughters, Amy (Scotty) Collins of Cyclone, Kelly (Ricky) Ellis of Hewett and Katie (Lonnie) Marcum of Chapmanville; one brother, Norman (Edwina) Daniels of Ripley; sisters, Brenda (Tim)Riley and Glenda Hatfield of Mabscot and Rhonda (Jamie) Fortner of Rutherford, Ohio; five grandchildren, Emily, Austin, Addyson, Kara and Madyson; father-in-law, Norman (Elizabeth) Brown of Pineville; two sisters-in-law, Mary Belcher and her companion, Norman of Shadyside, Ohio and Stephanie (Scottie) Lusk of Oceana; and a host of family and friends.
A special thank you to Dignity Hospice and our church family and friends who have been there for us during this trying time.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Terry Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
