Donald Lee Hill, 71, of Chapmanville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2013 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.
He was born October 2, 1941 and was a son of the late Delmar and Vinnie Ball Hill. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Leasa Hill; and a brother, Jerry Hill.
He was a retired coal miner and member of Local 2935. He was a member of Gospel Center Tabernacle in West Madison.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Kevin (Anita) Hill of Harts Creek; grandchildren, Kacee, Allie, Brooklyn and Nevin; sisters, Kathryn Pauley of Hurricane and Anita Alter of Cross Lanes; brothers, Harold Hill of South Madison Ronald Hill of Foster, Charles Hill of North Carolina, Glen Hill of Illinois and Danny Hill of Arkansas.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
