Doris Jarrell , 72, of Bald Knob peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2015 after a long illness.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and most of all she was a born again Christian. She was a member of the Morning Star Church at Ridgeview.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Kathern Glawe and Mae Dever; sister, Mourene Williams; and brother, Timmy Dever.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Carmel Jarrell of Bald Knob; sons, Carmel Jr.(Kathy) Jarrell of Pinch, Kevin Jarrell of Wharton; daughters, Roberta (Mike) Wooten of Bald Knob and Theresa (Phillip Jr.) Crouse of James Creek; brother, Pat Dever of Cleveland, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Carmel Jarrell III, Courtney Stanley, Christian Jarrell, Miranda McCarty, Michael Dean Wooten, Lindsey Wooten, Zak Foxx, Haleigh Foxx, Devon Jarrell and Trenton Jarrell; eight great-grand children; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She will be sadly missed by many family, friends and loved ones.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 23 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Wayne McCray officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
