Doris Jean (Johnson) Webb, 84 of Ranger, WV passed away on January 11, 2016. She was born March 21, 1931 a daughter of the late Harrison and Rosetta (Lewis) Johnson of Vernatter's Creek, Ranger, WV.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Lee "Prout" Webb; sisters, Agnes Baker Abshire, and Inez Nelson; brothers, Ernest, Andy, Clifford Ray "Buddy", and Lawrence Johnson of Ranger; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elias Baker, Sherman Abshire, Wilford Nelson, Mary Johnson, Rebecca "Tootsie" Johnson, Janice "Cookie" Johnson, Carol Ann Webb, Wendell "Dickie" Webb, Marcella Webb, Iris Janice Webb, and James "Pete" Webb; in-laws, Wayne Clarence "Dick" and Florence (Smith) Webb.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Craig Webb of Ranger; her daughter Doris (Greg) Stephenson of Ranger; two grandsons, James Webb of Huntington, and Matthew Webb of Barboursville; three great granddaughters, Lily, Violet, and Dahlia Webb of Huntington; two brothers, Lowell Johnson of Sciotoville, Ohio, and Homer Johnson of Milton; one sister Jewell Browning; sister-in-law, Helen Johnson; Gary (Sue) Webb, Darris (Brenda) Webb all of Ranger, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday January 14, 2016 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Donnie Lovejoy officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Family Private Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday.
