Dorothy Parsons, age 70, of Terra Alta passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornie “Bo” Parsons; her parents, Ira Everett and Marie Bishop Shahan; sister, Hazel Shahan Stemple; and niece, Melanie Stemple.
She is survived by stepson/nephew, Charles Parsons and his wife Charity; grandson, Anthony Parsons; brother-in-law, Ellis Stemple; nephew, Nicklos Stemple and his wife Angela; nephew, Ben Stemple; great nieces and nephews; and several friends.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 24 in Parsons Cemetery, Branchland with Greg Dial officiating.
There will be a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin prior to the service.
