Dorothy Elizabeth "Dot" Stewart, 93 of Madison, WV passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Boone Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 7, 1922 in Huntington, NY a daughter of the late Henry and Marquerite Mahon Sonnee. She was also preceded in death by her husband Marion Stewart; her son Barry Stewart; and two sisters Lillian Sonnee and Pauline Sheron.
She attended Bible Baptist Church, Danville, WV.
Dot leaves behind her children, Jim and Glenna Stewart of Danville and Pam and Ted Siders of Huntington; a daughter-in-law Susie Stewart of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with the Rev. John Barker and the Rev. Dan Gates officiating. Burial will follow at Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
