Dortha D. Stratton Mullins

Dortha D. Stratton Mullins, 92, of Foster went home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2017. She was born December 2, 1924 and was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Louella Martin Stratton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter O'Dell Mullins, seven siblings, Goldie Woods, William Stratton, Virginia Stratton, Martha Woodrum, Richard Stratton, Ruby Gregory and Mary Ann Stratton.

She is survived by three siblings, Betty Ball, Mac Stratton and Paul (Joyce) Stratton; her children, Frances Ann (Tom) Riddell, Sandra Lynn (Gary) Baire and Roger O'Dell (Manda) Mullins; grandchildren, Thomas Alan (Marnie) Riddell, Kimberly Lynn (Brett) Harris, Billy Kolyn Mullins and Cameron September Mullins; step-grandchildren, Diana (Shawn) King, Violet (Anthony) Vance, Leonard Hall Jr. and Franklin Hall; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of Women’s VFW Auxiliary.

Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 12 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Audie Murphy Sr. and Minister Ricky French officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
