Earl Bruce Jarrell, 70, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at home.
He was born November 15, 1948 in Logan and was a son of the late Clifford and Dorothy Jarrell. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Lonnie and Olive Jarrell.
He was a heavy equipment operator for WV Department of Highways, a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and football.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Bentler Jarrell; sons, Eric “Lonnie” Jarrell of Ottawa and Kyle Bruce Jarrell and his wife Dallas of Ottawa; sisters, Phebe Karpel of Peoria, IL and Marcia Moore of Piedmont, MO; grandchildren, Bentley Jarrell age 4, Hunter Jarrell age 3, Kinsley Jarrell 1 month, Kyleah Jarrell age 11, and James Jarrell age 10; aunt, Joyce Cunningham; nieces, Nina Walls and Debbie Kenney; and step-mother, Evelyn Jarrell.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 5 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Audie Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
