Eddie Alvery Adkins

Eddie Alvery Adkins, 75, of West Hamlin, WV died February 18, 2014 at home. He was born October 29, 1938 a son of the late Alvery and Virginia Adkins. He was also preceded in death by a sister Deloris Pritchard. He was past president of Country Roads Saddle Club, and was baptized on April 8, 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Melani; his children Alanna (Jeff) Garden of Branchland, WV, Keith (Paige) Adkins of Lewisburg, WV, Andy (Angie) Adkins of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren Tyler Garden, Zachary, Sydney, Brett and Pierce Adkins; and two sisters Sharon Chidester of Salt Rock, WV, and Lora McComas of Hamlin, WV.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday February 22, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Bobby Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Salt Rock, WV. The viewing will be one hour prior to the funeral.
