Edith Grace Harless ,99, of Newport News, VA formerly of Wharton, WV died Sept 3, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care, Danville, WV.
She was a member of the Bald Knob Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents,Charlie and Anna Jane McGuire; husband, Donnie Harless; brothers, George, Glen, Harry and Clarence; and a grandson, Edward Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Smith of Newport News, VA; granddaughter, Rebecca Mabe of Wake Forest, NC; grandson David Mabe, a great-granddaughter, Monica West of Sanford, NC, and a great grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Boone Memorial Park, Madison with the Rev. Tom Bias officiating.
Arrangements are by Handley Funeral Home, Danville WV.
