Edith Ann Moore, 87, of Danville passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
She was born September 26, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Addison and Camilla Cummings Louk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Curtis Moore; brothers, Clarence, Lawrence, Franklin and Benson Louk; sisters, Virginia Louk, Ruth Malcomb, Evelyn Villers, Ellenor Moyers, Hazel Cornell and Elva Louk.
She was a homemaker and a member of Greenview Community Church.
She is survived by one sister, Gathel Jordan; sons, Henry (Clarissa Lynn) Moore Jr., Addison "Adam" Moore and friend Veronica, Larry Moore and Gina and William George "Billy" (Dolly) Moore; daughters, Patricia Ann ( Henry Luke) Cooper, and Betty Simms; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of many nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Luke Cooper, Michael Simms and Aaron Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
