Edna Marie Harris, 70, of Barrett passed away on August 16, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elva and Warnie White; brothers Harold and Ernie White; mother-in-law Ruby Harris; and a grandson, Joseph Turner.
Edna worked at Light Foot #1 for 23 years and was a member of Local Union 781.
She left behind her husband of 33 years, Credell Harris; her son, Earl Hoke of Barrett; two grandsons, Derek (Kayla) Hoke of MO and Jacob Hoke of Barrett; one granddaughter, Jennifer Fuller of Ohio; one great-grandson, Kiah Fuller of OH; three great- granddaughters, Isabelle Fuller of OH, Berlin Turner and Madilyn Hoke of MO and another on the way; step-mother, Phyllis White of Lick Creek; brothers, Larry (Sharon) White of Wharton, Randall (Pam) White of James Creek, Warnie White of Lick Creek and Curt White of Logan; sisters, Frances Hall of Wharton, Bonnie (Chuck) Braden of IN, Debbie (Rodney) of Van and Rhonda White of Madison; and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews that will miss her chicken and dumplings.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 20 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
