Elcene Daniels Crisp, 77, of Six Mile, WV formerly of Monclo WV went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side August 10, 2015. She was born and raised in Davisport, Martin County Kentucky and was one of 14 children. She was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Daniels. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Everett, Jay, Raymond and Glen Daniels; daughter, Carolyn S. Adkins; grandchildren, Ricky C. Bias, Leonard (Tommy) Adkins, Jessica S. Adkins and Jeanetta D. McGuire.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas B. Crisp of 61 years; brothers, Clifton Daniels of Ohio, Russell and Paul Daniels of Tennessee; sisters, Maggie Perry, Bonnie Spears, Edith Spears and Janice Holmes all of Tennessee, Betty Newsome and Glenda Fyffe of Ohio; sons, Thomas R. and Tammy Crisp of Jeffrey, Claude and Susie Crisp of Six Mile; daughters, Patricia Burgess and Larry, Canatta Bias (the late Ricci Bias), Cynthia Kay Lane and Ray, Reneda Burgess and Roger all of Six Mile, Jeanetta McGuire and David of Sharples, Tonya Green and Scotty of Lick Creek and Misty Dunlap and Stacy of Julian; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grand children; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and loved ones.
She was a member of Monclo Freewill Baptist Church. She loved fishing, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 13 at Monclo Freewill Baptist Church with Joe Lane and Alfred Setser officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. at the church on Wednesday.
