Eleanor "NorNor" Lee Johnson

Eleanor Lee Johnson (NorNor) widow of Elmer M. Johnson, passed away this life on March 15, 2016, at her daughter's home.
She was the daughter of the late Kathleen (Ball) Ogrowdowski (Bill) and Ivan Ball. Born February 1, 1925, in Huntington, WV and raised in Luna Pier, Mich. by her mother and grandmother, Flora K. Jorgensen. She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, choir member, Ladies Union member, and a great worker during Apple Butter Making, and Rummage sales. Her whole life's desire was helping others.
She leaves behind a daughter, Judith (Roger) Salmons; three granddaughters, Dina (Pete) Vacho, Kerry (Keith) Bates, Laura (Raleigh Jr.) Collins; 8 great grandchildren, Grant, Victoria and Gabriel Bates, Zoe and Raleigh III, Samuel, Anna and Dean Vacho, and a foster brother, James Rechel of Temperence, Mich. Thanks to her loving caregivers Lahoma and Linda and Royale RN, Michael Grome, PA and many friends who never forgot to call, visit or send a card or gift. She loved you all.
Services will be held by Pastor Lenny Romans, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin on March 18, 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour before the service. The burial will be in the Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV.
