Elizabeth “Liz” Beadnell (Patterson) November 1956 – June 24, 2014 Resident of Charleston, WV after a courageous eight year battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in Charleston, WV. Liz was born in Canton, Ohio and raised in Hanoverton, Ohio. She graduated from United High School. She prided herself in being a Domestic Engineer.
She was one of six children born to Garner and the late Betty Margaret Patterson (Dick) and was the beloved wife of Raymond Beadnell for over 40 years. Preceded in death by brother, Thomas Eugene Patterson August 5, 1951; mother, Betty Margaret Patterson (Dick) July 1, 1982; and grandchild, Baby Frampton February 1, 2009.
Liz will forever be remembered by her husband, Ray; beloved daughter, Denise Frampton (Beadnell); treasured grandchildren, Chad and Amelia Frampton; along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her.
Liz loved sewing, crafting, laughing, being with her family, having fun with friends and creatively teaching Bible class and VBS. She enjoyed all holidays and strove to make each one special especially Halloween where she would sew costumes from scratch. Liz touched the lives of many people with her smile and love of life. She maintained her trademark sense of humor and tenacity all the way to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, 439 Phipps Avenue, Danville, WV and calling hours on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 12 to 3 pm at Hanoverton Church of Christ, 9833 State Route 9, Hanoverton, OH 44423 with funeral immediately following with Will Montgomery and Joseph Pauley officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Hanoverton, OH.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be sent to City National Bank which will be donated to Nitro Challenger baseball team as Liz loved watching baseball and that there was a team that allowed Chad a chance to play, despite his Autism and Susan G Komen that they may find a cure for Breast Cancer before Amelia reaches adulthood.
