Ella Louise Adkins 78, of Branchland, WV went home to be with our Lord on September 16, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
She was born April 13, 1939 a daughter of the late John and Ivory Dean Brunty. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Michael Ray Adkins; her sister Rose Lee Blankenship; and one brother Hiram Edward Brunty
.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Boyd Ray Adkins; her daughter Sheila Gail Rakes; two sisters, Jenipher Justice, and Nada Saunders; one brother, Donald Ray Brunty; three granddaughters, Kellina Frazier, Heather Barrett, and Ariel Rakes; one great grandson, Joseph Frazier; and three great granddaughters, Ivory Frazier, Cadence Barrett and Aubree Barrett.
Louise was a loving wife and mother. She was loved by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday September 20, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Timmy Davis and Ronnie Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Warrick Cemetery Branchland, WV.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
