Ella Marie Bias

Ella Marie Bias, 81, formerly of Hewett passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at home in Wytheville, VA. She was born July 19, 1934 in Clothier, WV.
Survivors include son, James “Butch” and Brenda Bias; daughters, Judy and Ralph Cook, Connie and Bobby Frank Ferrell and Karen and Randy Akers; five grandchildren, Craig Ferrell, Randi Hager, Melinda Ooten, Leslie Bostic and Brandon Akers; 12 great-great grandchildren; three brothers remain, Doug and John both of Ravenswood and Paul of Fairmont; and one sister, Sharon of Cross Lanes.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Vesford “Pete” Bias; two brothers; and two sisters.
She was a devoted member of Spencer United Methodist Church. She will be lovingly missed by family and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Roger McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
