Elmer "Teet" Smith

Elmer "Teet" Smith, 85, of Long Branch Road, West Hamlin, WV went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2013. He was born August 6, 1928, a son of the late Delbert and Verlia Baker Smith. Teet was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from BASF of Huntington. He was a loving husband,dad, uncle and grandfather, a good friend to many and jack of all trades.
He is survived by his wife Violet (Bias) Smith ;sons, Tim of West Hamlin, Roger Scott of Galveston, TX; daughter, Sandee Thomas of Monroe, NC; four granddaughters. Teet was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be 12:00pm Wednesday September 18, 2013 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Bell Ross Cemetery, Long Branch Road. A viewing will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
