Elouise "Ellie" Linville Lind

Elouise Linville Lind "Ellie", 76, of Camanche, Iowa, formerly of Griffithsville, WV, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 1, 2015 after a struggle with cancer. She was born in Morrisville, WV March 12, 1939. Elouise worked at General Electric in Morrison, Ill. for 25 years and retired at the age of 55.

Elouise was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and dedicated her life to family and friends. She was loved by everyone who met her. Elouise was preceded in death by her father, Okey Linville; mother, Eva Estep Linville; sister, Jean Stowers; twin sister, Louise Linville and husband Gary Lind.

Elouise is survived by her daughter, Tammie (Steve) Staten; sons, Keith (Kim) Sparks, Kennie Sparks and Cory (Teri) Lind; grandchildren, Kelly Sue (Billie) Burdette, Steven (Alicia) Noble, Nathan and Kennedy Sparks, Megan and Marrisa Lind; great grandchildren, McKinley, Carter, Ellie, Peyton, Mariah; brothers Dennis Ray and Venice (Emily) Linville; Alma Lou (Milo) Cummings, Wanda Boothman, Brenda (Bobby) Moore, Karen Dixon; several nieces and nephews; loving and caring brother and sister-in-law Ike and Sheryl Lind.; special sisters, Judy Parker, Robin Stewart, Gloria Adkins, Tena Adkins and Deb Nelson.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Farm Nelson and Terry Sponaugle officiating and Deb Nelson Singing. The burial will be at the Egnor Cemetery, Griffithsville (Old Parsner Creek Road). A visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral.
