Elsie F. Cooper, 89, of Danville, WV passed away August 4, 2014.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Vandin Cooper of 49 years; and her parents, Hubert E. and Mary Pauley Baisden. She was the last of her siblings.
She was a retired secretary for the Boone County Board of Education as well as a member of the Retired School Personnel of Boone County.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Tom) Harron of New Jersey; her son, Roger (Juanita) Cooper of Danville, WV; grandchildren, Mike Harron of New Jersey, Tommy (Kim) Harron of New Jersey, Jimmy (Karen) Harron of New Jersey, Rodney Cooper of Danville, WV and Rhonda (Mark) Clark of Danville, WV; five great-granddaughters of New Jersey; one great-grandson of Danville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Kenneth Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
