Emery Keith Branham

Emery Keith Branham, 60, of Danville, WV passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Keith was preceded in death by his wife Denise; his parents Virgil and Norma Jean Branham; brother Dwayne Branham and sister-in-law Mary Branham; and brother-in-law Ronnie Powers.

He is survived by his partner, Cathy Lilly who has stood by him through it all; daughters, Candice (Brandon) Branham and Hope (Bart) Phelps; sons, Justin Branham, Dustin Jones, and Derek Jones; grandkids, Gavin, Ian and Lilee Branham, Megan Browning, Kaden Phelps, Autumn Phelps, Eliana Jones, Tucker Jones, Liam Jones, and Raegan Boggs; sisters, Sharon Powers, Sally (Doug) Price and Debbie (Tom) Price; and a host of family and friends who will cherish his memory.

Keith graduated from Van High School in 1981 where he was an avid football player.  He worked for Guyan Machinery as a welder until he was hurt on the job.  Keith lived in constant pain.  He found peace with the Lord that he so desperately searched for, and in the last year he wanted to testify to everyone he met about his sobriety.

Service will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Tom Price officiating.  Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
