Eric Matthew Damron, born on January 2, 1993 to Mark and Terri Hill Damron of Danville, WV lost his battle on March 3, 2016. We will miss you baby boy.
Preceded in death by grandparents Robert Damron of Cox’s Fork and Esta Damron of Madison.
He is survived by parents, Mark and Terri Damron; sister, Haylie Damron Maciel and her husband Augusto; grandparents, Ronald and Julie Hill of Foster and Peggy Clayton of Danville; aunts and uncles are Gary Hill of Salisbury NC, Susan and Bill Parker of Raleigh, NC, Lisa and Dean Dolan of Madison WV and Elizabeth and Patrick Hill of Danville; cousins, Lauren and Breanne Parker, Emily, Matthew, and Nick Dolan, Sean and Mason Hill, Jacob Hill and Allyson and Makinley Napier. He left behind his beloved German Shepherds who were the true joy of his life, Zeus and Kara. They are grieving the loss of his life with us.
Eric was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, boating, riding ATV, camping, loved animals and respected nature. Eric was fiercely loyal to those he loved and always took up for those who couldn’t take up for themselves. He was best described as “a little rough around the edges, but underneath that tough skin was a heart of gold”. Eric lived life to the fullest every day and was excited for every day.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at Handley Funeral Home
