Eva Wills Burdette

Eva Wills Burdette, 90, of Madison, WV passed away March 10, 2013, after suffering a mild stoke January 13, 2013.
She was born June 24, 1922, in Madison to J.E. and Aboline Wills.
She leaves behind a daughter, Barbara and husband Gene Kirkpatrick of Arkansas; three sons, Roger of Madison and Terry and Steve both of Florida; and six grandsons.
She was a faithful lifelong member of the Church of Christ and attended until unable due to health reasons.
A most happy person with a smile and hug for everyone, never meeting a stranger and was frequently called the “The Hugger.”
The family would like to thank the staff of Boone Memorial Hospital for the loving care she received.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Richard Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
