Evelee Adkins

Evelee Adkins, born October 25th, 1989, died December 7th, 2024.

She lived with her father (Kellie) and mother (Hope) and younger brother James. She attended Boone County Schools from Head Start through high school and attended classes at Rock Creek.

She is survived by her mother; 5 brothers (Roger Arnold, Eddie, Donald, Andy and James); 6 sisters (Anna, Patty, Rita, Rebecca, Wendy, and Elaine)

Her pride and joy was her son, James Alex Wood, age 6, of Charleston, WV, and his father James Wood. 

She grew up in church and enjoyed sleepovers, traveling, shopping, and playing with her son.

She brought much joy to her family and friends in her 35 years of life. Although her medical issues slowed her down, she dived into a life of smiles and hugs for everyone she knew.

Services for Evelee will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Adkins Cemetery in Spurlockville, WV.
