Evelyn Elizabeth Bell

Evelyn Elizabeth Bell, 87, of Danville, WV, devoted and beloved mother, passed away July 24, 2016 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV.
She was born January 19, 1929 in Morrisvale, WV, a daughter of the late Malin W. and Gertie Broughton.
She was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church, Danville, WV. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing Rook, and reading. She will forever be remembered as fun loving and easy going.
Evelyn is survived by what she considered her three greatest accomplishments: daughters, Judy (Don) Tice of Newport, OH, Karen (Eugene Jr.) Armstrong of Foster and Betsy (Tim) Hager of Six Mile; her grandchildren, Jarrod Armstrong, Amber He, Gena Bell, Angela Wilson and Michael Tice; and 12 great- grandchildren. Also surviving is brother Everett Broughton of Morrisvale, WV.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Eugene “Mack” Bell; two brothers, William Jr. and Millard Broughton; and three sisters, Anna Bell Silva, Della Mae Pridemore, and Alice Broughton.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with her nephew Billy Silva officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
