Evelyn Linville 87 of Danville, WV gained her heavenly wings with family by her side August 26, 2022. She had a long illness with Dementia and passed away peacefully.
She was a wonderful mother and well loved by family. She was Baptist faith. She was born September 22, 1934 at Morrisvale, WV to the late John and Stella Egnor.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, love of her life; Tom Linville, Jr.; four sisters, Ann, Helen, Lucille, and Ellen; and three brothers, Lee, Chuck and Roger.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Timmy (Janet) Linville of Camp Creek, Tammy (Greg) Parsley of Madison, and Mark (Paula) Linville of Madison; two sisters, Mary Pardue and Sue Goode; one brother; Johnny Jr. Egnor; grandchildren Larry, Tonya, Kevin, and Marcus; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Our family would like to give special thanks to Hillcrest Nursing Home for being there for mom for many years.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Pastor Jim Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Linville, Larry Dingess, Marcus Linville, Austin Dingess, John Workman, and Eli Workman
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
