Frank Wesley Rowley, 95, of Danville, West Virginia, departed this life on January 3, 2025.
He spent most of his life in Boone County West Virginia. He was self-employed and the owner of several businesses including the Mountaineer, Gateway Restaurant, Drive-inn movies, R&R Motel, and Frank's Mobile Home Transport. He spent the last four years living with his daughter and son-in-law. Family meant everything to him as he supported all of his kids, grand-kids, and great-grand-kids in everything they participated in.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy Rowley; his mother Erna Rowley; his father Raymond Rowley; his sister Esta Damron; and his brothers Leroy Rowley, Charlie Rowley, and Paul Rowley.
He is survived by daughter Jenny Ford (Mark); son Wesley Rowley (Kim); grandkids Chasity Rowley, Kala Ford (Alec), Hannah Sheppard (Jarrod), Rocky Ford (Mariah); and great grandkids Addisyn, Grayson, Claire, Meredith, Isabella, and Eleanor He is also survived by sisters Erma Miller, Mary Clifton; and brother Will Rowley (Barbara).
Funeral services are scheduled to take place at Handley Funeral Home on Wednesday January 8th at 2 pm. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens following the service on January 8th.
