Fred G. Edwards, 57, of Midkiff, WV, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.
He was born June 4, 1955 a son of the late Charles "Baby doll" and Mildred Staggs Edwards. He was a maintenance worker for LPCC. He was also preceded in death by two unborn grandchildren; four sisters, Kay Flowers, Joann Allen, Brenda Hoskinson, and Leoda Bragg; three brothers John Flowers, Benny Flowers, and Odell Colegrove.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn Edwards; two daughters Tina (Doug) Scarberry, Becke (Dustin) Walker; one son Travis (Amber) Edwards; one granddaughter Abbigayle Edwards; two sisters Norma Gail (Chris) Hissom, Lillie May (Roy) Fulks; three brothers Kenneth (Carolyn) Edwards, Charles Delane, Robert (Rose) Edwards; and lots of special nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 4 2013, at Mildred United Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Branchland, WV. Friends may call from 6-9 pm Monday at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV.
