Freda Hager

Freda Hager, 76, of Cox’s Fork in Danville passed away November 11, 2016 at home after a long illness.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Gladys (Samson) Miller of Turtle Creek; and sister, Jane Barker of West Madison.

Freda is survived by her husband of 56 years, George; sons, James, Larry (Dee) and Amos all of Danville, and David (Tammy) of Six Mile; daughters, Lillian and Michele both of Danville; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Troy, Malloy (Lillian) Miller of Madison and Phillip (Judy) of Danville; sisters, Silvia Suthard of Cumberland, NJ, Edaniah Lerzo of Quinland, Marie Dingess of Haddleton, Bonnie (Hugh) Hughes of Cox’s Fork and Belinda Drew of Kodak, TN.
Freda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and matriarch and will be sadly missed by a host of friends and neighbors; and several special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. l3, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Pastor James Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
