Frenchie Gagnon

Frenchie Gagnon, 89, of Van WV went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2023 from injuries pertaining to a vehicle accident.

Frenchie is survived by his wife Kay Gagnon; his daughters Michelle (Bruce) Baisden of Twilight, Karon (Rick) Stroh of Michigan; sons Butch (Tina) Gagnon of Minnesota and Matt Gagnon of Bobwhite; stepdaughter and a stepson. His 13 grandkids and nine great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Anna; his son Carl; and daughter Ada.

His wishes were to be cremated. He didn't want any kind of services. Anyone that knows him knew that he was a faithful good church going man. He loved his VFW Post 5578 and would always be there when they needed anything. There wasn't a person in town that didn't know him. Always working on something for anyone.

His favorite hangout was with his friends at West Madison Grocery. He was so proud of his country, and the Flag that he has shown many schools how to fold it.

He was also proud of his family. He will be missed by many.

Dear God I gratefully Thank You for Giving me my dad. You must really love me, cause You gave me the best you had. Watch over him and Bless Him Lord and keep him in your care. And may he feel My Love for Him is my humble, Heartfelt Prayer. Love always your baby girl.
