Gale Stephen Elswick 77 of Julian WV passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Danville Church of Christ,a 32 degree Mason and a member of Madison Lodge, was a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Percy and Sabra Elswick, brothers; Gary and Danny Elswick, son: Greg Elswick and grandson; Casey Elswick.
He is survived by his wife; Freda Elswick, son; Dean Elswick of Julian, grandchildren; Heather (Shawn) Ballard, Samantha (Calvin) Garten and Stephanie (Justin) Loftis, great grandchildren; Skyler Ballard, Sarah Loftis, Hollie Loftis, Leah Loftis, Lilly Garten and Sadie Garten.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville WV with Mark Wheatley officiating.
Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
