Gary Bellomy

Gary Bellomy, 88, of Uneeda, West Virginia, native of Man, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 10, 2024. He was born on January 16, 1936 to the late Lloyd and Elizabeth Bellomy of Lorado, West Virginia. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bertha Napier Bellomy, who will cherish their loving marriage and memories forever. 

In addition to his wife, Bertha, Gary leaves behind his 3 sons, John Bellomy of San Antonio, TX, Gary Dean (Brenda) Bellomy of Man, WV, and Christopher Bellomy of Uneeda; grandchildren, Berry and Meredith (John Bellomy), Joshua and Jeremiah Bellomy (Jess) (Gary Dean Bellomy), Misty Angel (Derek Angel), and Kristin North Elkins (Chase Elkins) (Chris Bellomy). Gary also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren. 

Gary was a United Stated Army Veteran. He was stationed in Germany in the 3rd armored infantry. He loved to spend time with his wife and family in addition to fishing, and woodworking. He was a retired electrician, who worked a majority of his career in Buffalo Creek, West Virginia. He will be dearly missed by his wife and his family. 

Visitation will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Procession to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV will begin at 1:30pm. Graveside services, accompanied by VFW Honor Guard, will begin at 2:00pm.
