Gary Lee Cook, 42, of Bob White passed away at home on Saturday, May 3, 2014 after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Cook.
He leaves behind a son, Jared Cook of Van; his father, Harold Cook of Bob White; brothers, J.R. (Malinda) Cook of Bob White and Chris (Meghan Pauley) Cook of Bandytown; along with several nieces and nephews.
Gary leaves behind a legacy that will never be matched. He touched the lives of many people and he will be deeply missed by all. Gary was truly one of a kind.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Charles Vance and the Rev. Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
