George Ronald Smith, 69, of Hewett, WV passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 21, 1946 at Sharples, WV and was a son of the late Mooch and Eleanor Ball Smith. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Pete Smith.
He is survived by his son, George Smith (Chelsea Pack) of Whitman, WV; grandson, Jayce Smith; sister, Linda Workman of Cleveland; and brother, Bobby Smith of Hewett.
He was a United States Army veteran.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Ball Cemetery, Lake, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
