Gertrude “Trudy” Vickers 87 of Danville, WV passed away Feb. 23, 2016.
She attended the Baptist church and was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Bryant, brothers, Cecil, Harold Gene, Paul Perry, sisters, Faye Perry and Athlene Gore, son, Randy Ellison and granddaughter, Kim Ellison.
She is survived by her son; Gary and Lola Ellison of Danville, brother, Jerry Perry of Danville, sister; Joyce Hall of Ramage, grandchildren; Mark Ellison, Denise “Dee Dee” Ellison of North Carolina, Mandi Epling of Six Mile, and Crissey Ryan of Danville, eight great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Joyce Hall and Pam Bell for all the love and care shown to her through the years.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
