Gilbert Lester Watts, 80, of Branchland, WV died Tuesday April 4, 2023.
He was born August 28, 1942 in Branchland, WV, a son of the late Thomas and Almeda Adkins Watts. He was an employee of Bethlehem Steel for 36 years and was a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Watts; children, Barbara Watts, Alison Garloff, Leslie Mizell; 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; siblings, Thomas Watts, Freddie Watts, Cordelia Mason and Almeda Tencher.
A funeral service will be 2pm Friday, April 7, 2023 at Ranger Full Gospel Church, Ranger, WV with Clifford Vance and Steve Gallion officiating.
Visitation will be from Noon till service time.
McGhee-Handley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
