Glenn “Red” Bennett, 75, of Cleveland, OH passed away Friday, May 8, after a long battle with diabetes.
Glenn retired from Cortland Container in Cleveland, OH. He was a beloved member of a large extended family. He loved hunting, horses, Cleveland sports teams and his cat. Born in Greenview, WV, Glen was the youngest of 10 children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cloey and Ottie Bennett of Greenview; four brothers, Clyde W. (Bobby), Emmett, and Philip, Quentin; and three sisters, Adina Mitchell, Geraldine (Dwaine) Hiland, and Mary Jane Watts.
He is survived by his sister Ann Ixos and his brother Emmerson Bennett, both of Ohio; many nieces, nephews; and other extended family members that will miss him very much.
A small private graveside service will be officiated by Junior Egnor at Memory Gardens on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM for family members.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
