Gregory Bryant O'Dell

Gregory Bryant O’Dell, Jr., 35, departed this life on Saturday, October 12, 2024 after a long battle with diabetes.

Gregory was so many things to so many people. Regardless of where your paths crossed, Gregory would forever leave his mark on you. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and son. As a passionate musician, he was a founding member and drummer for the local band, Shake The Dead.

He was well known to many for his elaborate costumes which he fully immersed himself in. He enjoyed seeing others laugh. He genuinely loved and cared for so many, often inspiring down hearted and troubled souls. He tried to be a light to those who were in dark places, Gregory had committed his life to the Lord shortly before being baptized on Mother's Day in 2024 and now continues his journey with God in His presence, fully healed.

Preceding him in death was his grandparents Lolitta Jean and Willian O’Dell and his father Gregory O'Dell, Sr.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Brittney; daughter Laciee LaShea; son Liam Bryant; his mother Tammy (Chip) Frame; his brother Patrick Frame; his grandparents Denver and Jewell Pinson; his bandmates Tyler Nelson and Ian Flint; his lifelong best friend Justin Harper; his fishing buddies, Willie Hall and Tyler Shown; and many other families, friends, and lives he touched along the way.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time. The services will be held at Martha Freewill Baptist Church at Bandytown, WV.
