Our family lost an “Invincible” on December 14, 2022.
Gregory Scott Stephenson of Ranger, WV, was born November 18th, 1952. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lee (Webb) Stephenson of Ranger, WV; his sister Penny (Randall) Adkins of Branchland, WV; Brother-In-Law Wayne Craig Webb of Ranger, WV; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his brother Barry (Eloise) Stephenson.
He was a truck driver and then a warehouseman who retired after 35 years with SuperValue of Milton, WV.
He loved working on carpentry projects, riding motorcycles and restoring antiques, but more-so he loved his family and friends and the time he spent with them. He was intelligent, quick-witted and loved to talk and laugh.
To his friends and family, Greg was the embodiment of an invincible spirit. Whether you were working on cars or houses, perhaps you were baking a cake or having a nerf war, or even more serious, perhaps you were sick and needed to go to the doctor, he knew no limits in being there for you when you needed him.
To anyone who knew him, they will surely understand when we say, today, our family lost an “Invincible”.
Services will be held at McGhee Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin, WV.
Visitation for all will begin at 1PM followed by a memorial service beginning at 2PM on Sunday, December 18th, 2022.
