Guylia M. Howard Welch

Guylia M. (Howard) Welch, born on March 30, 1931 in Flat Lick, KY passed away on August 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Albert L. Welch, Jr., loving mother of Judy (Bob) LaChance, Teresa (Mike) Underwood, and Jeff (Nicole) Welch. Cherished grandmother of Dylan, Brandon, Sherry (Mike), Megan, Mikey, Jeffrey (Emily), Jordan and great-grandmother of Elijah, Caleb, Thomas, Brynnlee and Jordan, plus one more on the way. Preceded in death by parents Guy and Mamie (Scalf) Howard, sisters Velma (James) Wiggins, June (Paul) Richardson, Lorene (Ken) Palmer, Pauline (S.K.) Graham, brothers Guy Howard, Jr. and Vernon Howard. Survived by sisters Sally (Willard) Carver, Judy (Shirrell) Gray, Dorothy (Millard) Broughton, Mildred (Ronnie) Gambrel, brother Don (Kathy) Howard and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished the many friends that she made throughout her lifetime.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue at Elkton Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224 and Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow immediately afterwards at Crown Hill Cemetery, 11825 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
