Harold Ray "Tony" Ball, 86, of Madison, WV passed away on August 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ball; his parents, Herbert L. and Kathleen (Collins) Ball; his stepson, Michael Knabb; and his grandson, Ezra Knabb.
He is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Baisden of Madison, WV and Diane (John) Boulden of Palmyra, VA; his two stepsons, Jimmy (Ruth Ann) Knabb of Belle, WV and Johnny (Ruthie) Knabb of Madison, WV; his brother, Herbert L. Ball, Jr. of Columbia, TN; his sister, Betty Johnston of North Olmstead, OH; his grandchildren, Jaye (Denise) Knabb, Dara (Mike) Lao, Jacob Knabb, Richie Ray, Jennifer (Vince) Rago, Megan (Mark) Worthley, David (Lennie) Baisden, Justin (Kelly) Knabb; his 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 11 a.m. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Pastor Mark Meeker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Low Gap.
Friends may call on Friday, September 7th between 6 - 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart of God Food Kitchen (Prayer Connection Lighthouse) and Hubbard Hospice House.
The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care from Hospice, also special thanks to Davita Dialysis Center, Cindy Smith (Renal Consultants), his church family, and his many, many friends.
