Harold A. Holstein, 74, of Foster was born December 25, 1938 and passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.
He retired from Boone County Board of Education after 42 years of service. He was a member of Rock Creek Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Yuvonne Miller Holstein; three daughters, Annette and Jay Adame of Cool Ridge, WV and their sons, Kris and Kody, Drema and Mike Carman of Litiz, PA and their children, Cory, Lauren and Benjamin, Yvette and Gary Woodrum of Rock Creek and their children, Kyle and Kelsey; and one sister, Mary and Nathan Sharp of Charleston.
Special thanks to Boone County Ambulance, Boone Memorial Hospital, Charleston General Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital and Medicap Pharmacy.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 29 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Louis Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Foster.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
