Harry James White, 68, of Bim, WV passed away suddenly on Monday, April 27, 2015.
Harry was preceded in death by his father Ocie and mother Opal White; brothers, Delmas, Edward and Eugene White; and an infant sister, Helen Virginia White.
Harry was a bus driver for Boone County Schools for approximately seven years and a retired coal miner from Eastern Associated Coal. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon; brother, Billy (Ginny) White of Bim; sons, Scott (Kris) Grant of Lancaster, SC, Steve (Carla) White of Wharton, David (Amy) White of Bim, Mark (Leslie) White also of Bim, special friend, Jr. (Theresa) Harrison of Bim; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one great-grandson due in September.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Scottie Elswick officiating and Daisy Plaster singing. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Low Gap.
Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until service time.
