Havana Mae Shelton

Havana Mae Shelton, 92, of West Hamlin, WV passed away Saturday July 5, 2014 at Lincoln Nursing and Rehab. She was born December 2, 1921 a daughter of the late Albert Jenkins and Selly Pearl Dailey Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of CenterPoint Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lacy Shelton; her children Eliveo Shelton and Patricia Manns; a granddaughter Angela Baker; and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Lorella Cooper (Dan) of Yawkey, Vernon Shelton (Ruth) of Fudges Creek, Cebert Shelton (Imogene) of West Hamlin, Jean Napier of Huntington, Joyce Baker of West Hamlin, Roger Shelton (Selma) of West Hamlin, and Rhonda Miller of West Hamlin; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday July 9, 2014 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin with Lenny Romans officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memory Gardens, Hamlin. Viewing will be one hour prior to service on Wednesday.

The family extends a very special "Thank You" to the staff at Lincoln Nursing and Rehab. You were like her second family.
