Hazel Marie Browning

Hazel Marie Browning, 80, of Blair, WV passed away November 28, 2024.

She was born March 5, 1944 and was a daughter of the late Opie and Gertrude Bias. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Juanita Ball, Delores Murray, and Alma Wilkins; and brothers, Rodney Bias and Rickie Bias.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the LRMC Auxillian for 30 plus years.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Browning; daughter, Mitzi Dawn Williams of Stollings, WV; grandchildren, Gregory Lee “Fuji” Williams II (Leah) of Holden, WV and Tara Suzanne Williams of Durham, NC; great-grandchildren, Ryker Ashe Williams, Aksel Keane Williams, and Neah Bazzilla; brother, Rex Bias of Sharples, WV; sisters, Opal Carroll of Charleston, WV, JoEllen (Jim) Whitee of Chamblee, GA, and Ramona (Jimmy) Chambers of Mill Creek, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews and numerous family and friends. 

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 3 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Joe Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill Road, Logan, WV.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
